I used to be more creative [entries|archive|friends|userinfo]

una cosa triste [Sep. 29th, 2011|11:22 pm]
Life changed. I changed.

So, what you wanna do about it?

I explain better without the use of words, I've noticed. [Feb. 7th, 2011|12:00 am]
I'm more of a visually expressive person, apparently.
I learned this when I found myself 'capping online ads, or videos, and making random .gifs for no damn reason, but to explain how I am feeling, thinking, etc.
Like the following example of a screenshot I took of an ad right on my LJ log-in screen:

A little Photoshop text editing in red and editorializing on my part, but straight to the point, yes?
Thank you for your time :)

My reason for being [Jan. 12th, 2011|11:51 pm]
hot piece
I shoulda been more specific when I confessed that I like my supposed job of cleaning airbrushes.

Actually, I do like that. But it's not all I do.

I actually photograph "products." Really, it's boring.

And mundane.
And extremely lackluster.
And there's very few people who appreciate what I do, except of course, paying clients.

That hot piece up there? He helps me through the day.
Whenever I need to look at the time, I see that hotness looking into that film strip & I think:

See? This hot bitch cares about all this lame-ass "product shot" nonsense. This trick is appreciating every single frame of worthless junk I'm shooting.

And that makes it all the better.
A breath of fresh air from the staleness that is this:

What I have been up to [Nov. 23rd, 2010|05:29 pm]
I feel like I've left Livejournal again to take care of some other things in my life. Nothing serious. Just helping to relocate the studio where I work and we have less than a week to do it.

I can't complain though, I don't totally dislike what it is that I do.

I also can't complain about anything right now, given that Thanksgiving is around the corner. Best. Holiday. Ever. Duh!

The thought of the curiosity that is to look all fancy, only to pig out makes me feel like
Kim Zolciak from The Real Housewives of Atlana:

Every November in the days leading to Thanksgiving, I wake up thinking: yup, my life has come full circle, YUM!

Bon Appétit!

What is it that you do??? [Nov. 5th, 2010|06:57 pm]
[Current Location |work]

1) I work at a studio. 2) I clean airbrushes:

3) I also eat crap and watch The Simpsons five minutes before closing time, instead of dealing with some of the "jokers" that come inside the studio, acting all cute and not really buying anything.

Verryy fulfilling.

I'm such a wierdo.

The perfect 10-ten-ten project [Oct. 10th, 2010|10:00 pm]
Yes. Yes. I know. Today is 10-10-10.
Plenty of people have taken it upon themselves to mention it on Twitter and plenty of other avenues of expression.

So what? Big deal!

It's not like anyone has done anything awesome in accordance to today's date or binary meaning.
Or have they???
Jean Michel Jarre, son of Maurice Jarre actually did!
This "techno-wiz" held a live-streaming concert from the UK. I only caught the last 18 minutes of it, but it was pretty stellar.

And not too many people can claim to have done something as awesome as that, I must say.
Boo-hoo for the rest of us "normies," I guess.

The number sequence 10-10-10 is a pretty awesome and one-of-a-kind date and time, although it is a pretty common sequence
in comparison to the number 10 six times in a row and is a pretty groundbreaking number in and of itself.

Well...as far as gymnastics and olympic records go, anyway:
Nadia Comăneci, the most awesomest person to ever inspire any ultra-feminine female to become an athlete, know's what's up!

At 14, she scored six unprecedented 10.00's during the 1976 Montreal Olympics, making her the first and youngest gymnast to ever do so at an Olympic event.

That makes her pretty awesome, in my book.
It also makes today's date even awesomer now that I've managed to somehow link a talented Frenchman and a talented Romanian in one post, as irrelevant as it is.

I didn't think it would boil down to this, but... [Oct. 4th, 2010|12:43 pm]
...everytime I try to recount something worthwhile, I get über distracted by the lovely suspiriorum and her posts and the gang over here and here, no lie.

Wow, I went from tweenie shows to something much deeper.

Not that I don't enjoy my girly shows, 'cause that's a part of why I enjoy being a girl, but I also like deeper, more poetic subjects. Like
European Cinema, ha!

What the hell! I just like an array of subjects from trendy shows, to serious films, and the hot people that partake in them.
And that's what my corny journal's gonna be about for now.
For now, it's time to get back to work since 'ya know, I don't want my LJ to act as my vehicle for slacking off at work.

Is that a Louis Vuitton you got there? [Sep. 30th, 2010|12:56 pm]
[Current Music |Train - If it's Love]

Let's see, when was the last time I posted something? I mean, really posted something?
Let's be real. My previous 2 posts were just links to a Youtube channel which I don't dedicate to The OC anymore. When I did, some ass had all the videos I posted flagged through Youtube - so much for that!

Now it's time for a fresh start?

(I guess...)

Update! [Feb. 28th, 2007|08:15 am]
My Youtube account is mostly dedicated to The OC holiday episodes (season 1). I had a request for ep. 1, and have episode 20 up, so that would make it mostly holidays.
Without further ado, the episodes...
The Homecoming (episode 11)
The Best Chrismukkah Ever (episode 13)
The Countdown (episode 14)
The Heartbreak (episode 19)
The Telenovela (episode 20)

On the bandwagon [Feb. 27th, 2007|09:02 am]
I jumped on the bandwagon and got myself a LJ account.
This'll be mostly for posting updates on my youtube channel dedicated to selected OC, season 1 episodes. Enjoy!
